Evidence before endorsements
This independent prototype does not endorse parties, candidates, or ballot measures. It directs people to official federal and state-election-official resources for registration, deadlines, and polling details. It does not fetch or validate a personalized sample ballot.
What is verified
USAGov identifies November 3, 2026 as the next congressional midterm general election. USAGov and the National Association of Secretaries of State direct voters to their state and local election officials for jurisdiction-specific rules and information. These claims were checked October 18, 2026.
What is not verified
Individual candidate lists, local measures, judicial races, polling locations, state deadlines, and a complete address-specific ballot are not provided. A contest category shown on the homepage is only a research prompt, not a claim that it appears on your ballot.
Review standard for future expansion
Every contest record must include jurisdiction, office or measure ID, primary-source URL, publication/update date, reviewer date, factual claims, counterarguments with sources, unknowns, and correction history. Separate verified facts from campaign statements, interpretations, estimates, and unresolved claims. No paid placement may affect rankings or facts.
