Privacy by design
This prototype has no server, account system, analytics, tracking pixels, or address collection. Choosing a state and saving research notes use this browser's local storage only. Source links open external websites with their own privacy policies. Export creates a JSON file on your device; importing one reads the selected file locally, validates it, and merges notes without sending them to a server; clearing notes deletes them from this browser. Device backups and browser synchronization may still preserve copies outside this application's control.
Do not enter your name, address, voter ID, sensitive political preferences, or other personal details in notes. If hosting or backend services are added, this policy must be updated and independently reviewed before launch.
